Sure it didn't work for the country under Reagan but it sure worked for the country at large. It just happens to take a little bit longer time to work than the 8 years of a presidency

For an economic policy to take more than 8 years before it can bear any fruit is not much of a policy IMO.

He as a truly great leader of the nation still had the courage to implement it, well knowing that some presidents after him would harvest his work. Like your great hero Billy for instance.

I don't share your enthusiasm of Reagan......he was in bed with Saddam and the Contra Costa. He encouraged the ire of Iran because they disposed of his friend, the corrupt Shah. Through cut backs in social services, he encouraged the release of hundreds of thousands of people who had been institutionalized. Their release eventually lead to the large homeless populations found in every American city.

He had a Hollywood presentation and looked very presidential, but when one looks closely at his performance there are a number of distasteful flaws.
