The tax cuts as every economist now knows - except the foremost believers in some obscure socialistic ideology to whom you and Ted seem to belong - only generate higher tax revenues in a situation of over taxation at large. Its been 5 years. The tax cuts have not generated more revenue.......the economy continues to flounder with not enough jobs being created. Meanwhile, Bush wants to spend upwards of $200 billion on the Gulf and add it to the deficit. If you were running your house this way, you would be filing bankruptcy by now.
