A few years ago, I happened across one of those political programs that usually end up as shouting matches. I don't remember anything about the subject or the other guests, only that Brazile was there because the host(s) expected her to tow the party line (whatever it was) but she wouldn't play the game. She had her own view and was not the least bit hesitant about expressing it. I don't think it was the same as the GOP stalwart's view and it definitely wasn't what the others expected to hear. I remember someone on the show being upset that she wasn't following the Democratic talking points of the day.

I thought it was rather refreshing. I can think of very few with her credentials in either party who do not play the game for fear they will lose clients.
