Neolib, did you understand my point about the pipeline taking hydrocarbons OUT of the country? If they think they might be short of energy, why would they export it and replace what they export with nuclear energy? That is illogical.

They want nuclear power stations to make bombs for Islamic Jihad. Nothing else makes sense. Of course they will also get electricity but that's secondary to the main purpose.

If energy is the purpose, not bombs, then they could build a thermal power station and save the pipeline costs, risks and costs of transport through Afghanistan and Pakistan and keep the energy for themselves, adding value for export if they like.

Get a real job. As they have done in China, Korea, Japan, Singapore ... having once been poor. They aren't now.
