Well, the topic I was addressing was the whackos who want to rewrite the constitution to suit their own prejudices, or to waste uncountable time and dollars filing suit to upset established tradition, like The Pledge of Allegiance. I resent their meddling.

I wasn't talking about Katrina at all. Certainly the Mayor and Governor didn't measure up. Bush could have done better, but he DID do better than they. At least he got rid of your favorite whipping boy, Brown.

Bush is heading for a fall if he allows reconstruction to follow illogical paths. There is no point in reconstructing habitat for poor people below sea level. They should be relocated somewhere they are safe and where they can start earning their own way.

FEMA was never meant to be a first response...that was up to the states...the democrats didn't have a plan and spent all the money that was suppose to go to rebuild the levees.
