Message 21716548 Did you know that nearly $2 billion has been siphoned out of the Iraqi finance office during the past year? Some is believed to have gone for the purchase of inferior and antequated military equipment from Poland. The rest they don't know where it is. Two years ago, didn't Bremer 'lose' $800 million of Iraqi money as well? Outrageous..........how do we know the same thing won't happen with the Gulf Coast relief effort? Apparently, the Bush administration hasn't heard of standard accounting procedures. Then again, maybe they have heard of them but don't like using them because they didn't come from the bible. ted
