Ted, since you pretty much admitted that being "black" or "white" is a state of mind, that would indicate to me that skin color means a lot less these days than it used to. After all, Colin and Condi are both "white," while Clinton and Kerry are both "black."

No, skin color is still important but there are other factors that impact racial relations. BTW Clinton and Kerry are hardly black but I find it interesting that you see it that way. Are you like the white boys who believe that Clinton and Kerry favor the blacks too much?
