>>Don't even mention the TRILLIONS of dollars worth of oil under Iraq.
Don't even connect that with 84 million barrels of oil/day consumed worldwide while 84 million is worldwide max pumping capacity.
Don't even think about a dot in a trend...Indonesia, a member of OPEC, is now a net IMPORTER of oil.
Or another dot...Saudi Arabia has stated several times over the last year+ that they will raise production by 500,000 barrels per day yet remain at the 9.5 million they were at over a year and a half ago.

Yep, what you mentioned here is quite true, the oil factor is so obvious, everybody could see it even before the war started. And it's a very good article.

BUT, at least three main questions remained here:

1. Does the rich Iraq oil necessarily mean the war is for oil for the US in the first place? And the war is for oil only and no other important purpose?

2. Do you know who openly claimed the Iraqi oil soon after the invasion, while nobody else has been dared to do so?

3. Who's the real boss of the current US powerhouse, who control the foreign policy (including the Iraq war) and other major policies?
