Challenging conventional thinking is a good thing. Desecration of known sacred values is immoral, and people do it because they want attention. These same "artists" probably misbehaved growing up and in school to get negative attention because even negative attention was better than none.

Islam aappears to be a conflicting set of values proclaimed by a self serving man. Proclamations against proselytizing are only necessary if you know that given a fair choice between alternatives your choice is not a sure bet. That is why it is not necessary in the Hebrew or Christian religions.
