Oh please, Reagan turned his back on Afghanistan at his first opportunity.... That's a fact, don't pass the blame onto Clinton, silly boy, Bush Sr., he did nothing too. As I recall Reagan was sending in covert troops to train Afghan's to shoot stinger missiles at Russian helicopters.

If you bothered to read a timeline of Afghanistan, you'd discover that the Taliban did not even exist till 1994. You'd also discover that OBL left Afghanistan in 1990 and returned in 1996. Who was President in 1994 and 1996? Now, I'm not blaming President Clinton for the Taliban, but I'm not blaming Reagan either - as Soviet troops didn't entirely leave Afghanistan till Feb, 1989 (and President Reagan was by then ex-President Reagan).
