Bush lied about going AWOL from the Guard during Vietnam. The difference is, Clinton was openly against the Vietnam War. So of course he wanted to dodge the draft. He did exactly what Cheney did. Got a college deferment. Bush was for the Vietnam war but dodged it, went AWOl and lied about it. He showed no interest in risking his neck for his country unlike someone like John Kerry for instance, A Silver and Bronze Star combat hero who was a hero both during the war and after it in terms of working to end it. Tom Delay dodged the draft claiming there were plenty of blacks and Hispanics to take his place. He b ecame a pesticide salesman instead of a soldier.
