Exactly how am I supposed to talk to someone who equivocates suicide bombers with alleged Christians?

Because suicide bombers are humans just like you and me, not aliens. They are young guys who have been brainwashed by violent ideologues. Because Christians also have done desperate things during desperate times. Its so easy to judge when you are not walking in someone else's shoes.

Hitler was not killing in the name of religion, but in the name of eugenics. He killed how many Catholics after all???? Get your facts straight and then maybe we can talk.

Message 21713898;

On the contrary, Hitler was closely connected to the Catholic Church.

If he killed Catholics, it was because they were either gay or plotting his overthrow, not because they were Catholic. Hitler was baptized Catholic and the Catholic Church did not take a stance against him. True, he did not kill in the name of religion by why did the Pope say nothing? If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem:

"Pope Pius XII.

Pius XII became Pope in 1939. Under his leadership, the Vatican maintained a position of strict neutrality in World War II. The Pope was largely silent about the Nazi atrocities. His only public comment came during his Christmas message of 1942, when he spoke of the "hundreds of thousands of persons who, without any fault on their part, sometimes only because of nationality or race, have been consigned to death or a slow decline." Defenders later said Pope Pius believed he could accomplish more working behind the scenes. But critics found his public silence shameful."
