"You can argue but you cannot honestly deny that you support triple taxation."

Your statement above is EQUALLY DIS-true of both me *and* you.

The statement is false since NEITHER of us actively supports multiple levels of taxation as a national policy.

I would argue though --- and believe I am on more solid ground in making this claim then you are in making your claim above --- that since I am the one calling for a FLAT RATE tax system, and the elimination of countless hordes of special interest loopholes and 'special tax preference items'... while it is YOU who wants to continue with the current corrupted mess of multiple levels of taxation and tax preferences (calling for a change in only one particular tax), that the available evidence seems to say that it is YOU, Peter, who *most* 'supports' multiple levels of taxation.

Hanged by your own petard, you 'multiple tax lover' you. :)

"Ownership of a bank account and ownership of a business are essentially the same."

No they are NOT.

A bank account imparts no ownership interest in the bank.

I believe what you meant to say was a "non-profit co-operative"... where deposit shares do define the ownership.

That is QUITE different from a for-profit banking corporation.
