Nothing wrong with the one bet technique! It is just not one Hell of a lot of fun!

There ARE ways to win MOST casino sessions. The one bet strategy is NOT that way, although it IS a good strategy. That sounds contradictory, but it is not.

The only way to beat a casino is to win more on your winning streaks (or just on your winning hands), than on your losing hands. Because they (over any reasonable time frame) will ALWAYS win more hands.

But how can that be done? Very good question. And don't even consider the Martingale... :-)

If a 20 dollar bet rides in an even money game (such as Baccarat) for 3 wins you have a profit of $140.00 (a 600% profit in 3 minutes). Otherwise, you have lost $20.00. This is just food for thought--not the rounded strategy I'm referring to.

But for an average "gambler" your brother is doing a wise (if boring) move--provided he is putting that money on a near even game. Now blackjack runs from almost even to about 5% disadvantage (odds flow from rules)--so it is not sufficient to simply find a blackjack table. Nor would he put it on a double zero roulette wheel when there are single zero wheels...

A craps bet on "don't pass" would probably be best for his strategy.
