Have you tried going to Start..Search..Local hard drive (usually C)..before you do a search go to advanced options and check..system folders..hidden files/folders..and sub folders.

Type in jpg for file name..and let her rip. :)

If you delete pictures directly from the folder where they were and later placed them back you may have to deregister and or reregister the pictures from the file menu in the Zoom Browser.

I have downloaded Picisa picasa.google.com which does a much better job of storing pictures.
