That's very generous - to those private investors.

When I see something like this, I ask myself why right issues don't seem to in use at all in the US. A little bit messy maybe, but it will at least give the current shareholders a chance to participate when new shares are issued well below the current share price. Either by subscribing or by selling the rights.

simply some investors trying to realize a 10-20 bagger outta gnvc. Its lot easier if your cost basis is 20% below market. ;-( Like others, I wonder why rights offering or other methods are not used to protect existing shareholders. supposedly mgmt reviewed all financing options and made the best decision for shareholders - at least that's what they taught in business school long ago. ouch!
