Nor am I saying that the Mayor and Gov are without fault.
But neither has the wherewithal nor the ability to undertake such a huge mission.
The problem lies in bush's incessant harping on his administration's focus on emergency preparedness since 9/11 and on all the resources he's committed.
Like everything else he's done, it is wrong and based on lies and lip service. And it's in place to serve his cronies, not the US

You are wasting your breath.

Socialists don't care about the truth, they just want to repeat "It's all Bush's fault" over and over again.

They know if you tell a lie enough times it becomes the truth.

It helps when you have the liberal media jumping in with both feet.

I pretty much agree with you, but four years and tens of billions of dollars after 9/11 we are supposed to be better prepared to react to a nuclear or biological terrorist strike in a major city, one that would occur without warning.

Katrina gave warning - several days warning. My concern is that Katrina was a fire drill - and all elements of government failed.

Perhaps we should fold FEMA into Wal-Mart. From all accounts it was prepared.
