The FED Flow of Funds report is out for Q2. I haven't had a chance to dig through the numbers yet, but household mortgages showed another huge increase.

Between 2000 and Sept. 2002, home prices in SV dropped 20-30% in the mid-range. I can only measure that from the asking prices in 2000 to the closing prices of similar homes in 2002.
