Clinton was delinquent on his end of the Carter deal, which made North Korea restart their nuclear program while Clinton was still in office. Meanwhile, Clinton was taking all of the credit for the warming of relations, but didn't pay any attention to the fact that he was cratering the deal.

Actually the program was re-started well into the bush tenure....but clinton had concluded that there may have been breaches and was completing the delivery of the LWR.

The deal was unwise to begin with, and I'm sure Clinton knew it and made it clear, but what did he do about it? Milk it for all its political worth. Typical "image is everything" foreign policy.

I never noticed him "milk it for all its political worth" but then was not a big one for me.

At some point, you will have to accept that your Mr. Bush is a very mediocre man that is in way over his head while Clinton had the stuff of greatness.

Sounds like you really worship the guy ...

Worship no, respect yes. He did some amazing things while president.

Just like the Swedes worship Ingo, their last Boxing Worldchamp in Heavyweight (1958) for a long time, our libs worship Billy, their last President for a long time to come.

By the way, I believe Ingo was also the last white Heavyweight Champ of all classes and will remain so for a long time to come.

Later the throne was divided into WBC and WBA champions with even more competing "number ones" to follow.
