Buy lotsa smokes, them's better for barterin' then the gold coins! Scotch would work well too, methinks....Big ice chest with lotsa ice. An axe in case you have to chop yer way outta the ceiling. 50 dollars in pesos. 50 dollars in Russian rubles. 1 pair of silk stockings. 1 dozen condoms, extra large. A few energy bars. Mr. 12 gauge and a case of shells, to rally 'round da family wit'. Water, lotsa water, fill the bathtub and keep the bottles in the freezer. Road flares might be useful. Battery operated radio and TV, with lotsa batteries. Tank fulla gas for the car. Portable generator if they have any left. Plywood for the windows, sandbags for the doors. Oh yeah, and if you have any pets, take 'em with you. Damn, evacuating is EXHAUSTING work!
