I appreciate your response. Thanks. I think it's true about how easily we all can lapse into code when with a familiar group, especially one from work, for example. Of course, families have always had their own special codes.

I hope things go well for your friends, that they arrive safely and that all of you are able to somehow enjoy the few days together rather than brood about the hurricane.

My husband just got the call for Red Cross deployment, very likely in your area. I've just turned on CNN to see you're going to get some real fallout. Please, please do everything you can to protect yourself and your family.
