They hate the "war machine" aka the military.

They hate the Iraq war.

They hate the spending on the military.

They criticize when we are too harsh but never when innocents are blown up by the baddies.

They will not even allow recruiters to come onto campus at many universities.

They politicize the war with horrible signs outside of Walter Reed Medical Center(where laws are not passed the last time I checked)

In the light of all of this, how can they ever say with a straight face they support the troops?

The troops want to come home, bubba. The best way to help the troops is to end that stupid, wasteful, wrong-headed, poorly-planned and hopeless war of GW Bush's. Who has it benefitted besides Halliburton? Almost no one. We don't even know if the future Iraq will be less nefarious that it was under Saddam. We have no idea what we're doing over there, and we are broke and busted. We need to come home and take care of our own for a change.

Cindy Melts Down, Savages Grieving Pregnant Widowed Vet

She proved her lack of compassion Monday night during an exchange on CNBC’s little-watched “The Big Idea, with Donny Deutsch.” After a courageous pregnant veteran said she was 12 days from delivering the child she conceived with her late husband, a Navy corpsmen killed in Iraq by al-Qaeda operatives, Sheehan lovingly interjected, “Well, Sweetie, they weren't there before [U.S. troops] invaded and opened the doors borders to the terrorists.” Sheehan then taunted the widowed patriot, “You know what? Your baby is going to be fatherless for a lie, for two lies: Weapons of Mass Destruction and terrorism.” The grieving woman responded, “My child will never be fatherless because his father is an angel.”
