Republicans can't do anything right and Bush is the king of lack of ability. This would be the case EVEN IF THEY WANTED to do anything right. Republicans are so busy stealing (pork and vegetables and everything else that isn't nailed down in your house) that basic governance is far, far, far beyond them. Their answer to unaffordable healthcare? Let's give drug companies a guaranteed 33% profit boost! Their answer to a jobless recovery? Let's give money to really rich people so they can sit on it. Republicans are GROSSLY INCOMPETENT in all but THEFT. Unbelievably, did any Democrat ask Roberts about his play-acting the role of Rehnquist when the Republicans were planning to go to the SC in Bush v Gore? Apparently not.
