Re-read my post. I answered all of those questions. The effect on the troops and the enemy are secondary to speaking out and saying what you believe. You describe the remarks as derogatory because your bias says it is wrong express these views. When I hear the politicians speak I hear them telling it like it is. So I sit back and keep quiet and the war lasts 5 more years another 1500 soldiers will die. If I speak up and the war ends in 2 years then only 500 soldiers will die. If I believe this war is wrong I have an obligation to those other 1000 soldiers. If you don't understand this as a basic american right of free speech...Well I shrug and find that incomprehensible. jb
