Cultural norms are most definitely different in that part of the world.....in Nepal for instance, it is perfectly okay for men to hold each others hands and walk, but male and female? No.

It's just the way it is though, and as such I don't judge them by our standards.

Where I draw the line is when cultural norms infringe basic human rights, such as forced wearing of burkhas. That is certainly NOT okay.
