At some point, high ground isn't enough because your building might blow away, or be severely damaged and you along with it. Don't know KT's details in particular but can see that most people trying to evacuate is going through a nightmare.

He was planning to drive out but there are no hotel rooms available within several hundred miles of Houston. Go to the Holiday Inn site and look for anything within a hundred mile radius of Dallas or San Antonio ... absolutely nothing.

At this point driving out isn't much of an option because traffic is moving less than one mile per hour (idiot Governor should have used both sides of the highway to get people out).

I believe KT is only online at the office, not at home, so we won't hear from him until his office opens up again.
