It seems to me that those trying to eliminate the word "god" from everything from "the Pledge" to the money they spend are trying to eliminate the very essence of their right to do just that!! <We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.> Too funny. I think people have to remember there is a huge gulf between any religion {which can be looked at and evaluated through it's teachings} and the concept of 'god'... which is different to each person.
