Nobody ever suggested FEMA should be doing evacuations before the storm, you freaking idiot. They need to show up before a week after the storm. And you can bet they will, this time.

Nobody in the world except you thinks FEMA did it's job in New Orleans.

And hopefully they will actually start distributing the stuff in less than a week. Heck, we still have those 20 pods of rescue gear, generators and medical supplies sitting here. Maybe after Rita churns through, they will actually be used.
