penn's trip to New Orleans was not much more than a publicity stunt... he rescued no one, his boat sprang a leak and he had to be rescued himself... if he wanted, he could have stayed home and made a substantial donation without all the hype... a substantial donation would feed hundreds of people and supply the sick with the medications they needed... one row boat with a bad leak is completely silly, he was playing to the camera only... frankly, if he were genuinely serious, then it was an exercise in very poor judgement... I think he's a superb actor, and he should spend his energies on future film productions... GZ
