Ted, now that we're twiddling our thumbs waiting for Rita to make landfall, I wonder how good our computer models are in predicting these hurricanes. We're literally throwing terabytes of data at the problem through networked supercomputer clusters, exercising a complicated yet still inadequate scientific model. With the explosion of supercomputing power across the world, I have to wonder whether we're any closer to tracking the course of the hurricane than before. Beyond that ... uh, never mind. Tenchusatsu
