Excellent story about the futility of digging then reburying gold: pacificnet.net Thanks for that.

Aren't cyberspace and Google great? With CDMA/OFDM people will be able to have cyberspace and Google wherever they go. Gold can't deliver such wonderful services. It just sits in its hole.

When the all singing and dancing cybercurrency Quid gets going, replacing those horrible fiat currencies, then we'll really be getting somewhere. Gold prices will crash as gold becomes just another material object good for certain functions and all bow before the mighty Quid.
