With two exclamation marks." My point being, the memo didn't include support for the sort of abuses which occurred. Re: "PFC Lyndie was taken to task for following orders. And Kaprinski was busted to a lower rank...and she knew nothing about it, and was kept in the dark!" Dude, Ms. England and others where having way too much fun doing things of their own doing, which seem to me to have been quite spontaneous and originating with the parties committing the acts. Kaprinski wasn't aware 'til she saw the photos, and we certainly have no knowledge that Rumsfeld either knew of or condoned what the photos show. As I've said, there WAS an investigation ongoing prior to public awareness of the situation. Bash that investigation as you will, but I speak the truth. For what it's worth, one of YOUR links showed the investigation happened prior to public awareness as I say, and that a concerned American brought the information to the light of higher ups, and an investigation was begun. Chinu was wrong to say that Abu Ghraib was denied at first. It was admitted immediately upon being brought before the public, and the investigation which began prior to public awareness, was pointed to. It seems to me you are very wrong to state that no investigation has implicated anyone above PFC. LOL. I think I recall that the Kaprinski story posted here said so itself (starting with Kaprinski, though she probably doesn't deserve any more punishment than Bush will get for not over-ruling the governor and getting help into N.O. sooner).
