If you can't recognize Bush-Cheney's lies about the WMD's, nuclear program, Al Qaida contacts and "immediate danger" of Saddam justifying, they claimed, an immediately unilateral invasion, then you, my friend, have you head in the sand.

The fact is, that invasion had nothing to do with 9-11 or terrorism and was planned prior to 9-11. The administration also deliberately misled us into believing they knew Saddam had tons of WMD's and was ready to use them to attack us. None of it turned out to be true. None of it.

Worse, they did not plan the war well and now keep saying we have to stay there indefinitely and "stay the course". But the course they have taken is already a proven failure. So like Vietnam, it's time to cut our losses. Doesn't mean we have to pull out 100%, but we cannot take responsibility for that crazy country anymore, especially with all the calamities back home.
