Unlike 911, the Madrid bombings, and the London bombings, there was NO follow-up to the OKC outrage! Show me the Guantanamo's and Abu Ghraib's where the then-AG Janet Reno jailed hundreds of white militiamen in the wake of Waco and OKC... Show me the FBI's most wanted list --show me its "whitey" mugshots. Show me the dragnets carried out throughout the Bible belt aimed at rounding up "evangelical terrorists".... Show me the hardened rules of engagement that allowed the FBI and local police to "shoot-to-kill" any suspicious, McVeigh-looking, white man driving a truck (that might carry a bomb). You can show none of that. Besides, you overlook the fact that the bin-laden bugbear was concocted under the Clinton "liberal regime": Bin Laden shot to world fame after the August 1998 bombings of two US embassies in East Africa... BTW, tell me why Clinton --who wouldn't miss a chance to frame his rightwing foes, would he?-- didn't blame some international branch of the KKK for the '98 bombings in Nairobi and Dar es-Salaam?!? Why didn't he pin it on, say, Christian Identity's African chapter (in cahoots with disaffected white South Africans, of course)? If the OKC bombing were a "gov job" to give the rightwing fringe a bad name, well, it failed UTTERLY --just ask James Gilchrist and his merry Minutemen(*).
Another flaw in your dismissive view of the Right vs the Left as Tweedlee and Tweedledum equally bent on framing each other is that NO authoritative voice in the media or Congress ever challenged the official "al-qaeda" coverup THE SAME WAY the OKC bombing theory was challenged. Rightwing, conservative, "Judeocon" newspapers and radio talkshows were not long to claim that OKC was an al-qaeda plot and they were duly supported by GOP senators, governors,....(**)
Finally, your view that governments, whether leftwing or rightwing, are merely interchangeable sides of the same "evil coin" misses the fact that a future liberal, Democratic, White House will not roll back the bin-laden/al-qaeda/ugly-Muslim propaganda! If Kerry or Hillary is elected President in 2008 it won't mean "back to square one", back to cracking down on ugly, white militia nuts... Just ask Tony Blair, Britain's allegedly "Socialist" Prime Minister.

WASHINGTON – The senior senator from Pennsylvania plans to seek an investigation into alleged ties between the two Americans convicted of the Oklahoma City bombing, members of Islamist terrorist groups, and the Iraqi military.
"We will pursue it," Sen. Arlen Specter said Thursday after hearing a one-hour presentation from former Oklahoma City television reporter Jayna Davis on the information she uncovered in a multi-year investigation.
"We will send it over to the FBI and we will continue to look at it," Specter told Davis during an appearance on the Michael Smerconish talk show broadcast on "1210 The Big Talker," WPHT radio in Philadelphia, live from Specter's office.
"This is a matter which warrants an inquiry, so we will do it," the senator concluded.
Davis presented Specter with 22 sworn affidavits from Oklahoma residents who have identified eight Middle Eastern men, allegedly including several former Iraqi soldiers, who the witnesses claim collaborated with Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols in the bombing plot. McVeigh has been executed for his role in the attack; Nichols is in prison.
