9 months of Bush before 911.

Bush ignored the PDB that said: Bin Laden determined to attack inside the US. Bush ignored 40 FBI warnings. Bush ignored Clark. Bush didn't scramble anything. Bush has blithely said he doesn't even think about OBL very often which, I believe, is absolutely true. Bush doesn't care about 911, he was focused on a single foreign policy goal: get Saddam for oil, for revenge, for personal profit.

In case of a nuclear attack --- Bush would crawl under a bed with his tequila bottle and hide. Bush is already drinking again under the stress of low poll numbers. The National Enquirer said that he's drinking because of deaths in Iraq and Katrina but I don't think so. IMO, it's those poll numbers and the idea that he may really BE Poppy that bother him. The National Enquirer may be our last national investigative newspaper...jeepers...but they've been right many times before.

It doesn't matter if he's a Dem, a Rep, a Cobbler or an Indian Chief, he is mentally and emotionally unable to handle his job. Just as the rumors about Reagan's mental deterioration proved out to be milder than the reality of his Alzheimer's, IMO the rumors about Bush's drinking and angry tirades will turn out to be milder than the reality of his deterioration.

I'm no great fan of Bill Clinton's, he should have kept it in his pants for 8 years and stopped wandering off to eat at Mickie D's both of which set bad examples. He was, however, a brilliant, self-made President who knew more about a subject than even his own policy wonks. He read voraciously, he worked very hard and, IMO, he empathized with the vast majority of Americans because he is ONE OF US.

George Bush vacations = 520+ in less than 5 years
Clinton vacations = 152 in 8 years

I do not see why anyone who doesn't attend Bush's white tie and tails billionaires galas supports him. He is not for you or for your family or for your future. He is for himself, his family and his own bank account.

Why can't you see that? Why can't you see that your personal self interest lies outside of the rightwing?
