I never spent more than about $20 in the machines, so I missed all that. And I miss the chink chink chink of winning with coin machines.

The way I look at it, they brag about 98% payout of their machines, which keeps you playing. What they are really doing is taking 2% of your money every time you pull the handle. Pull it fifty times and it's all gone.
