The pollution lobby always lies and blames environmentalists. It's a sick-sick deception campaign. The biggest lies the pollution lobby tells us are as follows: - Cutting pollution costs jobs (just the opposite, clean fuels programs and industries create new cleaner, better jobs) - Cutting pollution is too expensive (cheaper in the long run) - Cutting pollution is not macho (like the Marlboro Man with lung cancer, sure) - Global warming is goofy science (absolutely proven fact actually and accelerating dangerously now) - Deadly polluting fuels are The American Way (and this from the supposely "Pro-Life" party) - It's too difficult to kick our gasoline habit (the technology is there to replace it if we invest and try) - Endangered species are going to die off anyway (if we let them) - Tree-huggers are ridiculous hippies (in a world without trees, we all die, everything would be a barren wasteland) - Gasoline is necessary and cannot be replaced (Brazil has replaced gasoline quite successfully) - Don't mess with Texas (actually, Texas, quit messing with our environment)

Anyone who opposes the Bushies is doomed politically, even if it is someone from the Republican party. Sen. Frist came out for stem cell research and violated the Bush line. hence he is now a target by the Bushies. We are headed towards a "bloody" dictatorship.
