I've never heard Aromatics called Naptha. What refineries call Naptha all goes into gasoline.

In any case Aromatics are just as valuable as solvents and petro-chemical feedstock.

Some Aromatics are included in the "gasoline detergent" package, although the majority of the engine cleaning package are not Aromatics.

Unocal refineries used to produce gasoline high in aromatics doped with high levels of lead or MTBE. It stunk to high heaven.

Likewise Olefins leave deposits in engine fuels systems and also have a better market in petro-chemical feedstock.
