Things happened really fast the last 24 hrs, like hitting fastforward button on the track of life.

Got up this morning, checked the rain cloud radar on internet, talked to my sister in Houston, electricity is running, no damages at all in the SW Houston. Decided to hit the road before everybody else, back to houston 2'ish.

On the way back, never seen that many state trooper cars lining up in the highway zooming towards houston, 250 to 400 of them, no kidding.

Have not watched the TV yet, only heard Rita missed Beaumont by 30 miles. Hope the damages and human toll is far less than expected.
