Wrong. Terrorism only springs up when we are occupying their "home land". Check it out. So in effect we are creating the terrorism. Now there may be a civil war if we leave, but that's why a strongman like Saddam was necessary. To hold together 3 factions with conflicting interests. Saddam was a creep but he was effective in keeping together an artificial country which the UK formed after WWII. This is really about oil. Bush-Cheney don't give a damn about the Iraq people. It's about oil. So keep the oilfields under guard. Leave 40,000 troops in the area, but keep them out of sight.
