Well, this will be my last post to you. I don't want to clutter this thread replying to your nonsensical posts.

< "my 15-20 trades per day are day trades, not swing trades. I buy (or short) at some point and then sell (or cover) during the same day. That is a day trade. "

No it's not. >

Sorry, but opening AND closing trades intra-day IS day trading.

< You are swing trading. don't believe me? Ask any daytrading broker or join a chatroom so you can learn something. >

Sorry, but my trades last from 20 sends to a few hours. That is NOT swing trading. You see I don't NEED chatrooms to make money. I pick my own trades and thus take full responsibility for my wins/losses.

< How many runs last all day without any shakes? Hardly any, if any. If you buy in the am & sell in the pm, that stock had numerous runs & shakes, "SWINGS", intraday, that Sir, is a swing trade. Got it? >

A continued trend (up or down) intra-day means staying with a trade for me. And when I have a profit I don't panic and close the trade with a penny pullback. After 9+ years of this full time I'm not that gullible.

< So, it's your computer & you against the markets, Well that's just great, except for one thing, YOU CAN'T WIN! >

Well, I've done well enough the last 9 1/2 years to support myself.

< All you people offer is your imaginary wins while I can turn you on to the biggest free daytrading chatroom on the planet. I want to make this perfectly clear, if you're not in that room, you are not in the best resource for daytraders on the planet. >

Your marketing & sales skills are really weak. I guess I prefer to not have access to the "best resources on the planet". Maybe you can get on TV for a late night infomercial pumping this great chatroom.

If you could just convince the regulatory bodies to adopt your definition of "day trader" then we could do away with the $25K PDT requirement.

NASD Rule 2520 (and NYSE Rule 431). Day Trading Margin Requirements:

Day Trading

(i) The term “day trading” means the purchasing and selling or the selling and purchasing of the same security on the same day in a margin account except for:

a. a long security position held overnight and sold the next day prior to any new purchase of the same security, or
b. a short security position held overnight and purchased the next day prior to any new sale of the same security.
