OK, so we all agree.....Penny stocks are 'gamble plays', in which you can make alot if you get it right and lose alot if you get it wrong....most are not considered long term investments...simply gamble plays for short to medium term...

Some people like to play them, some people do not...

seems simple

and again, I have no position in sprl.....my comments above are about the penny markets in general.....

With good DD more go up than come down.
Hence in one IRA account that I funded this year with 4,000 is worth 37,736.158 today. Started with 8 stocks and now own 41. If the pennies are not right for you, you do not want to put in the time and effort to do DD, go play Worldcom or Enron type stocks. Large caps can go down just as fast as pennies, but not up as fast or as far. Or paly it safe and get a CD paying less than 5% and watch it lose money do to inflation and taxes.
