Small government? Don't forget there's such a thing as hypocrisy, or outright lying. People might say they are in favour of something and do the opposite. Or steal the money. Think of various religious leaders for example. We have our very own Graham Capill in prison - leader of the Christian Heritage party while he was sexually molesting young girls [like 8 and 10 years old] while haranguing against such things and in favour of "family values". Maybe he was into sex education? Weird sort of education, but the children would have learned something. Not something I'd like my children to have to contend with and learn. But Islam is in favour of young girls entering matriomonial circumstances at young ages [single digit years] and that's the one true word, so they say.

<Is Norquist a libertarian? He wants to make government small enough to drag into the bathroom and drown in the bathtub >

Also, I find the metaphor hideous. Dragging anything into a bathroom and drowning it sounds dubious.

What weird stuff is in his head?
