Congress has a Republican majority and hence most of them are asses. The international community on the other hand told Bush then what he now realizes as correct causing him to praise the UN in his last speech at the UN a few weeks ago.

Hardly a reason to attack Iraq. Members of Al Qaeda are in nearly every country, including Germany, France and the United States.

There was no threatening presence of al Qaeda in Iraq, nor was it shown that Saddam was involved in 9-11.
