Gus > The tens of millions of evangelical freaks who long for Greater Israel and the taming of its Muslim foes don't do it out of awe of the Israeli government --they do it out of obedience to God's will.... Sure, but the Israelis don't care -- in fact, they encourage it. The Christians may believe that, after the Apocalypse, Jesus will descend and convert all the remaining Jews to Christianity, but the Jews know they are the chosen people and the God of Abraham will supervene to put Jesus in his place and chase all the goyim out. Incredible that people not only believe such drivel in this day and age but can actually go to war because of it. And we are supposed to be enlightened.

The difficulty in even raising questions related to Israel proves that serious debate is ever-more essential. The world is slowing waking up to the true reality in Israel and Palestine and Australians are joining the chorus of disapproval.<<
