Thank you Patti. We did lose our A/C and I called this morning and he is still stuck out of town having no gas. Said he would probably be back in the morning and come on over to fix it. We lost power again for about thirty minutes but they were replacing a transformer in back of our home and it was only off about thirty minutes. We do have large fans so we are not totally uncomfortable, just me with my cleaning girls They are use to hot weather and told me they are not uncomfortable. None of my family lost power or had damage so they are all very comfortable also.

We went out to have dinner at some friends home last evening and we had no trouble finding it going in, but it is a huge subdivision in the west end and we got lost coming out and it took us almost an hour to find our way out. Our friends told us to call them if we got lost, but we didn't and so we just lingered and ended back up at the last place we had been so many times. Lots of circles and culdesacs and stopped people to help us and we now don't think they knew how to get out either and were just telling us they thought they knew how to get out. They have many man made lakes out there too that are lit up, so we just enjoyed looking at the scenery until we got out. All Kickerrilla homes and huge with three and four garages. We decided Houston must really be doing good as most of the ones we stopped to ask directions were very young and also one couple of senoritas who did speak English and were probably live in help. They were the best help we had in getting out. lol

Glad you all were OK and did not lose power either. I am so sorry to hear you lost some of your loved ones in Louisiana.
