Iraq is a lost cause. Partly because of Bush's policies, partly because of the culture of Iraq and partly because of the history of Iraq. Just to give you a peek into why I say so, Iraq is not one country. It is three pieces that Saddam held together: The Shia piece, the Sunni piece and the Kurd piece. Saddam held the Shias and Kurds in check brutally.
