Re: "There is no hard evidence anything Bush-Cheney claimed about Saddam was true. None of it."

How absurd do you want to be? There is a ton of hard evidence that many bad things Bush/Cheney and many others have reported about Saddam are true. Perhaps you mispoke...or do you now think he's been horribly maligned and is really a super guy? I'm trying to have you recognize that the world believed Saddam had WMD's. The notion was nearly universal. Various countries believed it from their own intelligence agencies, and it wasn't because of Bush that they believed it (that would be silly) any more than it was because Clinton believed it and said so.

WMD's or not, there is no basic mistake here, Saddam was a bad guy (I know you agree). His guy did tout the 911 attacks with glee and promise more to come with defiance (and ya'll wonder where the American People got the idea Saddam was had something to do with terrorism or 911 itself?...look no further, no need to bring Bush or Clinton into it). Taking 911 into consideration, for the safety of the U.S. his Iraq remains in my view, a proper target of our, yes, self-defense activities there.

There is no "there" there, in your notion of lies from this administration, on this subject.
