Sorry to here about your bad experience with the Brinker QQQQ fiasco... I got burned badly with OEX calls way back in 1984, so know how it feels to suffer that way.

lumbar,

I understand your irritation with Brinker. Believe me, many people are sore at him for his handling of QQQQ. Those losses are never made up and showed that he was too inexperienced to ever be giving trading tips. In the period leading up to that fateful trade, Brinker was extolling his virtues as a successful trader and had a couple of good calls like those he made on the semiconductor cap stocks. We all got snookered and now you don't hear a peep from him on that subject.

But, I think you need to let that go now. It's water under the bridge. Brinker has stated that he was wrong and that's all you'll get from him. Nonetheless, it's no reason to ignore his good advice. Brinker's advice on long term market direction is still good advice until something changes that puts him out of step with the market. Until then, I think you have to chalk it up to a hard lesson learned and move on.
