"in general it would be a disaster for America." Everyone's entitled to their opinions. Why do you think a Libertarian approach (small government, low taxes, balanced budgets, individual liberty, free markets, an aversion to foreign military adventures, etc.) would be 'bad for America'? Are you in favor of a bloated, overweaning, over-spending, 'Big Daddy' Government? Do you actually like having the government tell you how to live your life... and then deficit spend (running up bills in your name) to enforce it?
